2009 Auctions
At Minyanville's 2009 Festivus we will be hosting a silent auction presented by Grandstand Sports which will have a slew of items ranging from autograpghs to art to fantasy vacation experiance's.
Minyanville is proud to announce that ASPEN Jewelry and Watches will be presenting their limited edition ASPEN watch.
Aspen One watch donated to AVSC by Elle Macpherson. It is the 2nd Aspen One produced; second of no more than 3,267 (the number of vertical feet on Aspen Mountain, from town to the summit). Elle’s signature is engraved on the back. The watch, with its display box and gloves can be seen on the Aspen Jewelry and Watches website.
The buyer of the watch will also receive round-trip air fare NYC – Aspen, 2 lift tickets providing access to all four mountains of the Aspen Skiing Company, 2 nights of lodging at the St Regis in Aspen, and the chance to join Elle for 2 hours of skiing on the day of her choice during the winter of 2009 – 2010. The buyer’s name – or the name of his or her choosing - will be engraved on a monument located on the back side of Aspen Mountain.
The watch is a 18 krt rose gold double case chronograph/compass watch set with 1.52 krt, white diamonds top quality. The watch comes in an impressive box together with a spair set of ski straps and ASPEN ONE leather gloves.

One-of-a-kind Fender Stratocaster signed by Warren Buffett, George Soros, Peter Lynch, Bill Gross, Jim Rogers and Others
This white Fender Stratocaster guitar has been signed and dedicated with personal messages to Todd Harrison and Minyanville by the country’s biggest and most respected names in finance. After the guitar crisscrossed the country for two months being signed by people including Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch and Bill Gross, the Minyans presented the guitar to Todd Harrison, founder of Minyanville, to be auctioned for charity.
Congratulations to Minyan Brooks for the winning bid of $57,300 on eBay! Thank you for your contribution in helping the kids! Now that it has been signed by a list of financial luminaries (please see below), one manager described it as the Wall Street equivalent of a baseball bat autographed by the 1927 Yankees.
