Two days after winning our Emmy, Minyans from all over the world reunited and returned to Hill Country BBQ to celebrate our annual Holiday Festivus. Yahoo's Tech Ticker was there interviewing great minds in finance like Macke, Adami, Shobin, Saut and Dwyer. Minyans chowed down, gambled and boogied the night away. Charlie Mangano led the tunes as his band the Rolling Bones kicked off the party. Even in our tough econmic times, Minyans generously donated alongside our sponsors TD Ameritrade, BTIG and Atlantic Advisors. We were able to surpass the amount we raised last year for the Children's Aid Society and Stony Brook Foundation! As always, we thank you for sharing the journey with us and look forward to celebrating with you at Festivus 2009!
On Ruby Pecks birthday, December 7th 2007, Minyans from all over the globe, including professors like Saut, Macke, Adami, Depew, came together to celebrate our annual Holiday Festivus. We ate, danced, discussed and gambled all night long. Fox Minyans, Cody Willard and Rebecca Gomez televised the event. Willard even jumped on stage for an impromptu performance. Due to the donations from loyal Minyans as well as our generous sponsors, TD Ameritrade, BTIG, Harbor Pilot, Kaboose and Midtown Partners, we were able to raise over $60,000 for the Children's Aid Society and the Stony Brook Foundation. As the purpose of the journey is the journey itself, we thank you for sharing the journey with us.
