The Ruby Peck Foundation for Children's Education is proud to announce the success of its first annual charity benefit which was held on Friday, December  1st, 2006. It was a two part benefit; an  afternoon  of finance  and a night of magic all in the name of children’s education.

Former NBA New York  Knicks & Chicago Bulls Championship player Trent Tucker was honored for his outstanding contributions to  creative education.  100% of the evenings net proceeds benefited The  Ruby Peck Foundation for Children's Education and
The  Trent Tucker Youth Program.

Speakers at the conference:

The  night of  magic; The Critters’ Choice Awards took place at COUNTRY located in the  Carlton Hotel, voted one of the ’Best New Restaurants in the Country for 2006’  by Esquire Magazine. Our  notable RSVP’s included NBA stars Trent Tucker, Patrick Ewing, John  Starks as well as NFL star  Howard Cross and HBO’s  Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui.

The foundation was created in the memory of Todd Harrison’s grandfather Ruby Peck; the man who left a legacy  for the love of learning.
